Project Overview: With a total construction area of approximately 76,000 square meters, the project includes one office building, three cold storage facilities, and supporting facilities such as sorting and processing areas. Covering a land area of about 100.5 mu (approximately 16.5 acres), With a total floor area of approximately 76,000 square meters, this project is designated as a key initiative of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Upon completion, it will serve as a cold chain logistics distribution hub originating from Xinjiang and extending to Central Asia and Europe, thereby contributing to the realization of the Belt and Road Initiative.

Fabric Ducting Application Solution:

We provide customers with a customized solution featuring the MX Fabric Ducting System. This system utilizes high-permeability eco-friendly fabric that is durable and offers a 15-year service life guarantee. It employs a directional airflow pattern with perforated outlets that deliver airflow without creating a draft sensation, along with a quick and simple dual-track suspension installation method.

2. Static Pressure Box Design

Fabric static pressure boxes are employed. Since the cooling units consist of multiple fans operating in parallel, airflow collisions and turbulence occur during operation. To minimize these impacts and stabilize system pressure, fabric static pressure boxes are integrated at the connection points with the cooling units. The air velocity within these boxes is lower than that in the ductwork, converting part of the dynamic pressure into static pressure. This ensures more stable and balanced air distribution throughout the system.

3. Duct Design

The cold storage facility comprises 3 buildings with 10 cold rooms and 33 cooling units. Each unit is equipped with a dedicated fabric duct supply system to enhance air delivery efficiency and uniformity.

Advantages of MX Fabric Ducting:

Uniform Air Distribution, Energy Savings:Given the large interior space, direct airflow from cooling units cannot achieve uniform temperature distribution. MX fabric ducting features multiple rows of small perforations along its entire length, delivering linear airflow throughout the duct. The air outlets are designed in an S-shaped crisscross pattern, ensuring broad coverage and uniform air distribution. This guarantees rapid temperature uniformity throughout the entire storage area, thereby saving energy.

Low Air Velocity, No Drying Loss: As a critical link in the food cold chain, cold storage quality is paramount. Airflow organization within cold storage directly impacts frozen and refrigerated food quality. To avoid direct airflow on goods, vent angles are designed between 55–85 degrees. The fabric duct system creates a low-velocity airflow storage environment with uniform temperature distribution through its low-speed airflow pattern.

Lightweight, low ceiling load, easy installation and maintenance: The MX fabric duct system is lightweight, factory-standardized, and delivered as finished products to the site with zero material loss. Utilizing a dual-track suspension system, installation is simple and efficient. Sliding rail assemblies are positioned at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock points; once tracks are installed, the rails slide into the track grooves. End-point tracks are separately secured to prevent system movement during fan start/stop cycles. Installation is straightforward, construction timelines are shortened, and the system imposes no load on the main structure, ensuring worker safety.
